The Rowans Hospice welcomes people living with a life-limiting illness and their aim is to improve the quality of life or support people to die with dignity, in comfort, and in peace. They also show much care to families and carers at the Hospice and also at home.
Each year Rowans Hospice services support more than 10,000 people, generating almost 90% of their income through their retail shops, voluntary donations, and fundraising events, which enables them to provide specialist care to all those in the local area.
Although currently uncertain and difficult times are experienced, the Charity has survived for almost 29 years, providing specialist care to those with complex needs at the end of their life, there is no doubt it will do everything in its power to continue the delivery of clinical services into the future for the local community.
