About our Church

St. John the Evangelist (Anglican) is a Church of England church and part of the Portsmouth Diocese. It has been the Parish Church of this part of Fareham for over forty years and is home to a congregation of around 175 people of all ages and backgrounds. We are a friendly Church and you will find a warm welcome at any of our Services and Events. 

The Church began to meet in the present Church Hall in the 1950’s and the Church building itself was completed in 1963.

Our patron is the Church Pastoral Aid Society

We seek to have a close, obedient and living relationship with God, worshipping Him as Creator, Savior and Lord. We reach out to the community with love and the message of the good news of Jesus Christ.

We are a Bible based church emphasising sound doctrine and teaching the un-compromised Word of God. We are a Prayer Centre, praying faithfully according to God's word.
