Rowans Hospice

The Rowans Hospice welcomes people living with a life-limiting illness and their aim is to improve the quality of life or support people to die with dignity, in comfort and in peace.
They also show much care to families and carers.
They are a charity and just over 13% of funds comes from the NHS
and the remainder from the community.
They currently have 1,500 volunteers to help provide the services.
In October 2018 The Hospice launched a £7.5m Silver Jubilee Appeal
to fund a 3 year, 3 phase project to improve the building and the care
it provides.
