Mission to Seafarers

The Mission to Seafarers logoFor the hardworking crews who spend months at sea, isolated and far from home, a simple phone call to a loved one can make a world of difference. The Mission to seafarers works 365 days a year in over 230 ports around the world to give help and support, in every way it can, to this vulnerable community of workers.

The help comes in many forms, including Seafarers’ Centres where there is a guaranteed warm welcome and the opportunity to speak to loved ones, help for abandoned crews, spiritual support, care in emergencies and if a seafarer is hospitalised for any reason, the Mission chaplain and volunteers will visit them.
