Give thanks for the gift of the Holy Spirit and ask for us all to be empowered and renewed in our faith through him.

Give thanks for the leadership of our Archbishop Justin, Bishop Christopher and Archdeacon Gavin in these difficult times.  Pray for God’s wisdom as they seek ways to restore our collective worship and invigorate our mission.

Give thanks for local initiatives to help those facing hardship caused by the coronavirus and pray for them to be well supported.

Please pray for those in our community facing insecurity through job loss, reduced support infrastructure or postponement of much anticipated life celebrations.  Pray also for those who have said ‘farewell’ to loved ones without the support and physical presence of friends and wider family.

Continue to pray for all our national political leaders, that they may be given sound advice and take sensible actions in dealing with both the immediate and long term COVID issues while not losing sight of other significant matters!
