Christians Against Poverty (CAP)

caplogoCAP is a nationwide Christian charity focused on releasing people from debt, poverty, addictions and their associated causes.  Through their services, which are all run through local churches, they are tackling poverty head on.  In our society many people live behind closed doors, are desperately poor and unable to feed their children or heat their homes in winter.  Debt breaks families apart and drives many to think that suicide is the only solution.  CAP is passionate about releasing people from such hopelessness.  Its nearest centre is a ‘Release’ Centre in Gosport which helps people with addictions such as smoking, drinking and gambling.  CAP’s vision is to bring freedom and good news to people in every community through 1,000 CAP projects by 2021.
